Are you passionate about supporting and inspiring young people to fulfil their potential, whatever their background?
Carshalton Boys Sports College (CBSC) is in search of passionate and inspirational staff to join us, as we look to expand and strengthen our existing pastoral team. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to support pupils and experience of working with students with Dyslexia would be an advantage.
Reporting to the SENCo your role will be to provide support, either in-class, 1:1 tuition, or to small groups of students with varying abilities. You will be encouraging and supporting individual pupils to reach their full potential, whilst demonstrating a creative and determined attitude that will help motivate students.
This role would suit experienced TA’s or a graduate who wishes to gain in-school experience prior to undertaking teacher training, as well as those who would like to pursue a career as a Teaching Assistant (L2 Teaching Assistant Training Course will be provided, however, will commence on a lower pay scale).
Visits to the school are actively encouraged, as are initial discussions with Paul Farr, Assistant Principal and SENCo, which can be arranged by contacting the school.
If you wish to apply for the post, please download the application form below, alternatively phone 020 8714 3100 or email email@example.com for these.
CBSC is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. All successful candidates will be required to undertake a criminal check via the DBS before they can be appointed.
Closing Date for Applications: 10am, 23rd November 2020
Interviews will be held: w/c 9th November 2020
We recommend early applications as the school reserves the right to close the advert prior to the stated deadline date.
