Each week there is a dedicated lesson where students access extracurricular activities. These sessions cover a broad range of opportunities ranging from leisure, recreation and intellectual activities.

It is important to note that most students will also continue to develop their extra curricular interests and passions outside of this dedicated hour.

Examples of participation include:

  • Football
  • Rugby
  • Handball
  • Swimming
  • Gym / Fitness
  • Athletics
  • Netball / Basketball
  • Badminton
  • Music / Drama / Performance
  • Leadership within school
  • Volunteer work
  • Extended work experience
  • Mentoring

There are many other examples of student participation: importantly, students can request and lead on the development of other enrichment examples.
