Charging & Remissions
The Governing Body of Carshalton Boys Sports College is committed to the principle of free school education. All core educational activities that take place wholly or mainly during teaching hours should normally be available to all students regardless of their parents’ ability to meet the cost.
However the Governing Body recognises the probable need to charge for those optional activities which are provided wholly or mainly outside the school hours; also, the probable need to invite voluntary contributions towards additional educational activities which take place in school hours. These may not take place unless sufficient contributions are received to cover relevant costs.
