At Carshalton Boys Sports College, keeping our students safe online is as important to us as their safety in the classroom. The internet, mobile technology and social media are a huge part of young people's lives, and we want every student, parent and carer to feel equipped to navigate them safely and confidently.

In line with the Department for Education's statutory guidance, Keeping Children Safe in Education, we help students understand and manage the key risks of being online — Content (what they might see), Contact (who they might interact with), Conduct (how they behave towards others) and Commerce (scams, gambling and inappropriate advertising).

Below are trusted resources for students, parents and carers to find out more, stay informed about the platforms young people use, and know what to do if something doesn't feel right.

If you look after young people there’s an area for you too – with resources you can use in the classroom or at home.
