Lewis Brackstone in the new AFL International XVIII

Lewis started playing Aussie Rules at his school, and last year as a sixteen year old was able to break into the dominant West London Wildcats team who went on to win their seventh consecutive premiership.

Lewis started playing Aussie Rules at his school, and last year as a sixteen year old was able to break into the dominant West London Wildcats team who went on to win their seventh consecutive premiership.  As a seventeen year old veteran this year, Lewis has cemented his place in the West London Wildcats side and has also been rewarded with a position in the new AFL International XVIII. 

At the end of last year the Australian Football League (AFL) announced that a new team the AFL International XVIII would compete in the Australian National Carnival against various representative teams, where various club selectors pick the best young players to enter the AFL system later that year.  Lewis will be the only British based played to represent the International side in 2010 and will join players from South Africa, USA, Japan, Canada, New Zealand and the Pacific to test their skills against the best junior Australian players.
