Year 12 North Kent Coast Trip

Monday 19th October 14 Year 12s embarked on a Geography adventure along the North Kent Coast.

As part of their unit ‘Geographical Investigations’ Year 12 have to complete lots of different types of fieldwork and research. The topic this term is Crowded Coasts. We visited Botany Bay, Birchington, Minnis Bay, Reculver, Bishopstone & Seasalter. The weather just about held out with only a few light showers (when we were on the bus). It was a long day, with an early start, we left school at 0730, but the boys had a great day & invaluable experience towards their AS Level.
