No Human Being is Illegal Exhibition

As part of Empathy week a group of staff and students collaborated with New Art Studio, an art therapy charity that works with refugees and asylum seekers.

We visited the studio in Islington on two occasions, taking part in art therapy sessions and speaking to the members about their experiences.

Some members produced artworks for our exhibition and wrote a short piece to accompany it.

The aim of the exhibition is to raise awareness through empathy and educate our students and community through these very personal stories.

The exhibition also includes photographs taken at two refugee camps in Greece, taken by the son of one of our EAL teachers.
