WOTC & Independent Learning

We believe that Work Outside The Classroom (WOTC) is an essential part of every student’s learning experience. It is intended to provide students with the experience of independent learning, to consolidate or extend work covered in school.

WOTC may take the form of research, revision, reading, writing, drawing, etc. and will vary in the length of time that a student has to complete and submit each piece: from the next lesson, the next week or at the end of the term.

Parents/carers are expected to support their child by providing, as far as possible, proper facilities for the completion of WOTC. If you need help with this, please contact your child's Learning Coordinator and PSO.
